D9 Brewing Company, at Lake Norman, was started by two engineers and a doctor, with a mission to inspire and support community through the creation of exciting and original crafted ales. The craft microbrewery was formed in July 2009, with a vision to bring people together with outstanding beer. The founders believed every person- and beer- has a story and decided to start a brewery where both could be shared. Every guest is treated to an experience where they can see, taste, learn and enjoy the process of brewing from start to finish. Each of their 15 draft beers are brewed in the 12,000-sq.- ft. production brewing and packaging facility.
Free tours are available every Friday,, where you can enjoy a behind-the-scenes experience, from the custom boiler system to the built-in cooling room. You'll walk out with a new passion and knowledge of craft beer.
