It all started back in 1980 when the Raynor family opened the Village Restaurant in Newton Grove; business was great and after a few successful years they moved to the small farming community of Meadow, seven miles south of Benson on NC Hwy 50.
Meadow Village Restaurant has became famous for many things, most notably being its Chocolate Pie which has been featured in North Carolina's "Our State" magazine! Visitors will be amazed at the extensive buffet with BBQ, southern favorites, salad (for someone we guess is on a diet!), and the dessert buffet. Be aware there are strict rules on sharing the desserts -- pie crimes will be reported!
Meadow has long been a stop for visitors on their way to the beach for lunch or a "take-out" pie or cake. Full service catering available for groups of 50 or more.
