The sibling owners and classically trained chefs of Bros Sandwich Shack share a passion for cooking and a love of Hatteras Island. From beef ground fresh in-house to waffle fries, pickles and sauces, almost everything you’ll find at Bros is house made. The menu showcases burgers and hot sandwiches and has expanded to feature a new selection of craft bottled beer from Foothills Brewery. Try out the Cowboy Bro, a fresh burger basted in sriracha BBQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, smoked gouda and applewood smoked peppered bacon. Vegetarians will find some quality options, including a house-made Quinoa Patty. Bros has been recognized by several travel magazines as having the best burger in the state, so you know they’re legit! Now they have a second location in Nags Head.
