Featuring an historic mineral spring, the Park also features a stack-rock wall beneath Mineral Spring Drive. Historians continue to research conservation and WPA documents to determine when the wall and road were built. It may be another year before the park fully reflects its design, to include a marker at the 1940 flood water level that destroyed businesses and homes along the Yadkin River.
