The Bradford Market
The Bradford Market offers a huge selection of organic and naturally grown local produce. The store was built in 1911 and is a tangible reminder of the robust cotton economy that characterized Mecklenburg County in the last half of the 19th century Post-Civil War Era. William Bradford ran a cotton gin, a blacksmith shop, and a sawmill on his property. Today, you can come sit in the rockers, relax in the countryside and stock up on some delicious produce and goods. Browse through local pasture-raised meat, eggs, dairy, organic local produce, essential oils, supplements, all natural household items, local artisan gift items, local coffee, local bread and other pantry staples. As well as organic plants, seeds, gardening supplies, soils and much more.
