Through interesting exhibits and displays, the Museum tells the story of rural life during the 1800s and 1900s in Fremont, formerly named Nahunta. There are rare photographs and printed materials on display. The town honors S.L. Fremont, an early chief engineer of the Wilmington-Weldon railroad.
