Located off Big Cove Rd. Mingo, on the Cherokee Indian Reservation, is one of the most fabulous falls in the whole Smoky Mountains area. Turn onto Big Cove Rd and drive 5.5 miles to the Mingo Falls Campground and park. The trail is only a quarter-mile long, but the first part of it is very steep.
