Based on 68 ReviewsThe Western North Carolina Air Museum is the first air museum in the state of North Carolina, known as the “First in Flight” state. The museum features award-winning restored and replica antique and vintage airplanes. In addition to the historic aircraft, the Museum displays aviation artifacts such as manuals, photographs of historic airplanes and pilots, and models of historic airplanes. The Museum is dedicated to preserving and promoting general aviation and the flying heritage of the Western North Carolina Mountains region.
There is no admission charge.
