The only golf course on Lake James, dating back to 1923, when it was designed by famed golf course architect Russell Breeden. This course is open to the public and is located less than 5 miles from I-40. Noted for spectacular views of Linville Gorge and Shortoff Mountain, the course is set among the area's scenic rolling terrain with Bermuda fairways and excellent bent grass greens challenging the experienced players while helping beginners relax and learn the game.
