Hyco Lake
Hyco Lake was constructed in the early 1960s and covers 3,750 acres. It has 120 miles of shoreline and provides many opportunities for outdoor public recreation including boating, fishing and disc golf. A wide variety of birds and other wildlife can also be seen at the Natural Learning Area. The 18-hole disc golf course is free to play. Please check the website for dog policy and information on required permits.
Cabins, RV sites and primitive camping available.
Community House available for events and a concert area. The lake and a 65-acre recreation park are under the jurisdiction of the Person-Caswell Lake Authority.
