Each September, the Council hosts a 5-state sculpture competition, the largest gathering of professional sculptures in the South. Through this competition, the council has placed more than 65 pieces of public sculpture on display throughout Caldwell County. The Arts Council operates three galleries: the main gallery at the Caldwell Arts Council building, the Art-in-Healing Gallery at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital, and the Art-in-Community gallery at the Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce.
