Based on 13 ReviewsThe 3-story Victorian mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features a 1914 House Museum of antiques and collectibles. Home to the legendary “Diamond Jim” Lucas, exhibits include local gems and minerals telling Hiddenite’s unique geological formulation. In addition, changing art galleries and a toy and doll collection is available. Fee for the guided tour; other areas are free. About an hour from Charlotte or Winston-Salem, we are a perfect day trip! The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center’s educational complex offers arts programs throughout the year such as dinner theaters, concerts, and dance productions.
