Lake Thom-A-Lex Park

Area fisherman can launch their boats at the access below the Wardens office. All fisherman must have current North Carolina fishing license and lake permit. Area residents can launch their kayak or canoe for $2. Kayak can now be rented at the park, solo kayak can be rented for $15 for 4 hours, and a tandem kayak $25 for 4 hours. No swimming is allowed, the lake is the water source for the Cities of Lexington and Thomasville. No pleasure boating, water skiing, or jet skiing is allowed. All pets must be leashed and are not allowed in lake and playground area.
