Located on the banks of the picturesque Fisher River, the park offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and supplies an ideal climate for nature enthusiasts. The park provides an array of amenities including three softball fields, a concession stand, five soccer fields, three horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, basketball court, disc golf practice range, six picnic shelters, almost two miles of multi-use trail, a 1/4 mile paved walking trail, and a challenging 6.3 mile mountain bike trail. For those who wish to simply relax and enjoy the outdoors, Fisher River Park is ideal for large and small groups. An amphitheater is also located in the park, and for the kids, the park provides two playgrounds for children of all ages. Maintained by Surry County's Parks and Recreation Department.
