Pollocksville Town Hall and Depot
Where should a small town hall be located? Why on Main Street of course! The Pollocskville Town Hall and Depot is a fully restored 1893 Atlantic Coast Train Station with the original wood sides and wood floors. The warehouse has been restored with original graffiti from 1873, 1701, and 1901. The waiting rooms have been renovated for office space and a museum is in the works. The depot was given to the town in 1993 and sits beside the picturesque Trent River. Aside from the historic structure, you can enjoy a walk along the river, launch your canoe or kayak from the dock or dangle your cane pole fishing line in the river to hook the "big one!"
