Lodging
Laughing Heart Lodge
The lodge is a great place for relaxing, a romantic getaway, and to enjoy fall color in a quaint mountain town. The lodge was built in 1892 and, for more than 50 years, was a Jesuit Retreat Center. Today, Laughing Heart Lodge offers accommodations in its 7 lovingly renovated rooms (most with private baths) with exceptional mountain views or lovely forest views.
At the edge of our 8 acres, Laughing Heart Hostel (located at the trailhead of the Appalachian Trail) includes very affordable lodging for hikers and other visitors to Hot Springs.
Our rustic cabin can sleep up to 4 people, 2 in the loft and 2 in a futon. There is a living area with a propane heating stove, a breakfast nook, and medium-sized kitchen. The cabin was built in 1892 and is an authentic board and batten structure.
