Memorial Park is located right in downtown Blowing Rock. It is the centerpiece to every major town event. It has a gazebo that houses many planned and impromptu concerts. It also has a picnic area with both covered and uncovered tables, basketball and tennis courts, and an area for horseshoes. From Memorial Day to Labor Day there is a booth that rents out equipment such as, tennis, basketballs, volley balls, pickleball, soccer balls, kickballs, jump ropes, and horseshoes. The park also has state-of-the-art playground equipment, designed specifically for Blowing Rock’s unique needs.
