From the grounds of the facility, the exhibits testify to the hard work and ingenuity of US Marine aviation during the last 100 years. You will be introduced to a timeline of aviation, starting at Kitty Hawk to today’s introduction of the F-35B Joint Strike Fighter. You will have the opportunity to experience the aircraft on display as well as appreciate the expertise and detail that make each mission successful.
The Aviation Exhibits on display convey the grandeur of the aircraft our Marines and fellow military aviators have flown and still fly today. Visitors to the exhibits also learn the timeline of flight in eastern North Carolina and those particular models of aircraft our region has repaired, modified, even helped design.
Eastern Carolina Aviation Heritage Foundation strives to honor the men and women who have made Marine aviation what it is today.
