Welcome to The Highland Thistle, a brick Colonial Revival home,built in 1925 by Archie Coffey, one of Lenoir's early furniture magnates. The home is decorated with traditional furnishings in a way that is both elegant and welcoming. Enjoy a breakfast each morning cooked to order in the beautiful dining room. Coffee, tea, sodas, ice and homemade cookies are always available to guests. Guests may feel free to curl up with a book from our extensive library in front of the fire, relax in the comfortable living room, or enjoy the spacious front porch or rear patio.
