The Hickory Museum of Art is the second-oldest art museum in the great state of North Carolina – and the first museum in the Southeast to collect American art – offering exciting exhibits, classes, films, and programs. The permanent collection of Folk Art from our community gives you insight into our past. The museum is free to explore with several permanent exhibitions and rotating exhibitions. For example, works from Andy Warhol has graced our local art museum. The goal is to bring people together and inspire creativity through the power of art.
