Attraction
Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center
Sunlight passes through stained glass. Colors flitter across the gallery’s paintings, textiles and jewelry provided by more than 100 Southern Appalachian artisans. Sounds from An Appalachian Evening Summer Concert Series vibrate through the air. Outside, children romp around the playground while others take the walking trail around the 10-acre campus. A couple enjoys a picnic at the pavilion. A family is enthralled by the Courtyard of the Cherokee, an outdoor exhibit authentically representing the seven clans of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians. The Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center, housed in the historic rock schoolhouse, is a vital contributor to the preservation of Southern Appalachian mountain heritage. SVC welcomes you!
