Shallowford Farms is an agribusiness located in Yadkinville, and the only popcorn factory in the southeast. Shallowford Farms distributes popcorn products to local grocery stores and sells popcorn kernels in bulk internationally. Shallowford Farms popcorn is locally grown and non-GMO. Gourmet flavors such as caramel, strawberry, blue raspberry and many more can be purchased in the Shallowford Farms store. Tour of the popcorn factory are available by appointment only. Tours take visitors inside the factory to see production and outside to see the agricultural facilities. Visitors learn about Shallowford's "farm-to-table" experience through observing local agriculture, popping popcorn, and manufacturing. Tours open to all ages, and a complimentary bag of popcorn is provided at end of tour.
