Friendship Park is filled with shrubs, azaleas, Bradford and Dogwood trees and is located in the center of downtown. A fountain in the center of the park is surrounded by bronze plaques in honor/memory of the town’s citizens. Also located in Friendship Park is the former Atlantic Coastline Railroad Depot, also known as the Hobgood Depot, and Hobgood Country Church Museum, a ca.1880 Methodist Church.
