As seen on the “Learning Channel,” hunt for amazing treasures. Gem mine rain or shine. Covered flume lines that are also heated in the off season, will be the kids favorite thing to do in Mitchell County. They offer and extensive emerald display, aquamarine mine trips, a General Store with ice cream, plus a jewelry and gift shop.
We have lots of local materials such as Crabtree emerald, Wiseman and Brushy Creek aquamarine, as well as moonstones, garnet, citrine, amethyst, ruby, sapphire and others brought fresh to the mine daily. There are lots of different gemstones to discover!
Or simply tour our mines, visiting either Brushy Creek Aquamarine Mine or Hoot Owl, where aquamarines and emeralds have been found.
