World Waterfowl Day

Sylvan Heights Bird Park will be celebrating the inaugural World Waterfowl Day with events throughout the day. Meet waterfowl up close during Keeper Chats with park bird keepers, win prizes for completing a waterfowl scavenger hunt in the park, and more! The day will also include a special event in memory of Mike Lubbock, waterfowl conservationist and co-founder of Sylvan Heights Bird Park.

We invite you to join us in celebrating World Waterfowl Day, an event which we hope will grow and gain international support each year. Sylvan Heights Bird Park is establishing this awareness day to draw attention to waterfowl and their wetland habitat, and to foster greater public appreciation for these fascinating birds.
