Merry and Bright: A Holiday of Lights at the Grove

Historic Poplar Grove kicks off the 2024 holiday season with “Merry and Bright,” a 4-week festival of lights and magic. This year, the ancient Oaks shine with cascading white lights, and new holiday scenes, trees and photo ops await! Enjoy fire pits, food trucks, snow machines, local vendors, outdoor movies and more. The outdoor tent offers covered dining and live music on select nights. Santa will visit Thursday’s 5:30-8:30 pm and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 pm-9:30 pm. Mr. Twister’s famous balloon show runs nightly from 5-9 pm (10 pm Fri-Sat). While you're celebrating with us, take a tour of the 1850s Manor House all decked in Victorian splendor. Admission is $10 per person (kids half off on Sundays). The show runs Nov 29-Dec 22, Thurs. and Sun. 5-9 pm and Fri. and Sat. 5-10 pm. All proceeds benefit our mission of education, conservation and preservation.
