Dance of the Harvest Moon Powwow

The Lumbee Tribe of the NC Dance of the Harvest Moon Powwow is just around the corner. Join us the weekend of September 27th, 28, and 29th at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center for clean family fun.  There will be native arts & crafts vendors, traditional Lumbee food, as well as dancers and drum groups from around the nation.
 
The 2024 head staff include Louis Campbell and Ciena Fedor as head male and female dancers; head drum judge is Billy Hunt; head dance judge is Nicholas Locklear; arena director is Patrick Green; Emcees are JD Moore and Marty Thurman; and the host drums are WarPaint (Northern) and Otter Trail (Southern).
 
Grand Entry will begin at 7 pm on Friday, September 27; Noon and 6 pm on Saturday, September 28; and 1 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
